Train Like We Fight: SHOT SHOW Product Preview for LiveFire Tactical Training and Aim Perfect Simulator

Previewing innovative firearms training products

There will be no shortage of innovative firearms training products at SHOT SHOW this year. Today we want to take a look at the Type 3 Malfunction Round by LiveFire Tactical Training and the Aim Perfect, live ammunition shooting simulator.

Type 3 Malfunction Round by LiveFire Tactical Training

Type3 Malfunction Round

LiveFire Tactical Training LLC - Booth: 42938 (SHOT1) - is the developer, manufacturer, and distributor of the Type3 Malfunction Round. It is a nylon dummy round which simulates the Type 3 Malfunction, exactly as someone would experience it in reality under Live Fire Training Conditions. Now, we are no longer limited in our training efforts, we can experience the "Mother of all Malfunctions" in Live Fire Tactical Training.

On September 25th, 2018, LiveFire Tactical received the official notice of approval on the patent application and forever changed the way we train for malfunctions:

The way we’ve trained on the Type 3 Malfunction in the past, has been equal to dry firing, but never live firing.

It’s all only theory until we experience it! Success in a lethal force encounter is not just about the actual, physical steps of clearing the Type 3 Malfunction. It’s about minimizing the delay, between the Type 3 Malfunction occurrence, and the positive defensive action. It’s those precious few seconds that can be the difference between life and death.

Aim Perfect, live ammunition shooting simulator

Aim Perfect

Aim Perfect - Booth: 43662 (SHOT1) - software allows you to turn your laptop into a shooting simulator. Easy to use, simply record a video using your cell phone or any other device. Download the video to your computer and transfer it into the software. You are now ready to use it for a simulation.

When you start the playback, the video plays on a paper screen. Every time a shot is fired, a hole appears in the screen and the software records the exact moment of the shot. By pressing the replay button, you can now analyze the shots taken one by one. When you listen to the replay, you will hear the sound of the scenario as well as the verbal instructions given by the shooter recorded by the microphone.

Using their respective backgrounds, the creators of the Aim Perfect simulator have created a platform that is both easy to use and of an increased precision.
